The Ravenna City Police Department proudly serves the 11,000+ citizens of the City of Ravenna, with a staff of 27 sworn Law Enforcement Officers and 11 Communications Officers.
The department is equipped with a state of the art computer aided dispatch system, mobile data terminals, enhanced 911, and other advanced technology to better serve it's citizens.
Our officers answer over 20,000 calls for service each year ranging from public assists such as vehicle lockouts to more serious criminal offenses such as assaults, burglaries and robberies.
In case of more serious tactical incidents, the department belongs to the Metro Swat Team which further enhances our response capabilities. The department is a member of a Federal Task
Force through which ATF(Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) agents investigate and Ravenna Police enforce illegal drug activity throughout the county.
